Kraai Supports Toys for Tots Through Vignette Village
Doug DeJulio from Carnegie Mellon was unable to retrieve his helicopter raffle prize before the conference ended. Jason Belcher from Kraai contacted Doug who suggested Kraai "go ahead and donate it to a children's hospital or Toys for Tots."

New Office in Chicago
What does a company based in near Kansas City that has everyone in the company get on a plane and fly to Chicago every Monday do to alleviate travel? They open an office in Chicago, of course. Kraai Consulting, LLC has done just that hiring a long term Content Management industry veteran by the name of Brent Litzer to lead the effort.
 
Kraai Expanding Again
The Kraai home office in Overland Park, Kansas is going through another expansion this year. With this additional space, Kraai holds enough of the building to add their name to the building sign out front.

Robert Kraai

Managing Partner

Robert Kraai is a Partner with over 20 years of professional experience. Across the years Robert has held positions from DBA to CIO and has been instrumental in the foundation and growth of Kraai Consulting since its inception in June of 2004. Robert has extensive experience in ECM Strategy, Technical Architecture, Analysis, and Design. He also has a solid foundation in development and maintenance that he continues to keep current. He has a passion for data and content based on years of extensive Data, Database, and Content experience including a deep knowledge of Vignette CMS and a skill set in content delivery through a large segment of current and past protocols.

 

 
Scott Kaufmann

Managing Partner

Scott Kaufmann has a proven track record for implementing portal and content management software with over 8 years in the ECM space. He started his ECM career with Epicentric, a pioneer in the portal space, and served in various roles providing technical consulting and training for Global 2000 companies implementing portal solutions. Epicentric was subsequently acquired by Vignette and Scott joined Vignette's Professional Services (VPS). At Vignette he continued to design, architect, and implement ECM solutions to meet the needs of Vignette customers. In 2006 Scott joined Kraai Consulting bringing his extensive industry knowledge and experience to help build a top tier ECM consulting company.

 

 
Raina Knox

Director of Consulting Services

Raina has an extensive management background specializing in information technology, project management and process improvement. Her education and experience is based in both management and technology and she uses her process and project skills to drive efficiencies in the management of projects and organizations. The project management methodology she brought to Kraai is the product of several successful company implementations and has been optimized for a technical consulting environment. Her dissertation topic is centered in project management and she spends a significant amount of time researching project management as an art and science and uses this knowledge to ensure Kraai projects are delivered as committed.

 

 
Brent Litzer

Director of Consulting Services

Brent has over 12 years of enterprise content management experience. He started this journey building content management systems for the Chicago Tribune in 1996. From there, he went on to build his own company to provide ECM services to such clients as AT&T, Sprint, and the Chicago Tribune. Prior to joining Kraai, he took a position at Motorola to help build a vision and strategy for Motorola's intranet content management needs.

 

 
Jason Belcher

Director of Client Services

Jason Belcher joined the Kraai leadership team in January 2008. With over 15 years of experience at Fortune 500 companies in the Customer Finance and Telecommunications industries, Jason brings strong leadership and relationship building expertise to the team. As the Director of Client Service, Jason has responsibility for managing past, current and future customer relationships, as well as internal staffing and recruiting. Jason's focus on the strategic growth of the company allows us to continue to grow our business while allowing our technical consultants to be focused delivering our customer's needs.

 

 
Gregg Freeman

Center Of Excellence Leader, Imaging and Workflow

Gregg Freeman leads the Documents and Workflow Center of Excellence, and has over 16 years of software engineering experience ranging from Fortune 500 companies, to small software start-ups. Gregg has significant experience with Imaging and Workflow systems, ranging from integrating third party systems to designing and implementing BPM solutions as product offerings. Coupled with his systems design and technical architecture skills, his Imaging, Workflow and BPM experience allows him to creatively design effective and efficient enterprise content management solutions. Gregg holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Western Illinois University, after graduating magna cum laude with honors.
