New Office in Chicago
What does a company based in near Kansas City that has everyone in the company get on a plane and fly to Chicago every Monday do to alleviate travel? They open an office in Chicago, of course. Kraai Consulting, LLC has done just that hiring a long term Content Management industry veteran by the name of Brent Litzer to lead the effort.

The Kraai home office in Overland Park, Kansas is going through another expansion this year. With this additional space, Kraai holds enough of the building to add their name to the building sign out front.

Kraai Consulting Expands the Kansas City Office Again

Walk to the east end of the fifth floor of 10551 Barkley where Kraai Consulting. LLC. has their home office and you will come to a blank door with no sign on it. Open this up and you find yourself in the latest space acquisition for Kraai. The wide open end of the building adds more space for cubicles and offices plus a new conference room with a view of a serene wandering creek and wooded area.

"We all thought of moving our office out to this end of the building just to have that view," says Robert Kraai. "However, we would all be so disconnected because there isn’t quite enough view for everyone to share. However, this expansion is not for the need for space now, but more for the future needs. It was available and being shown and we realized we were land locked if we didn’t take it."

With this additional space, Kraai holds enough of the building to add their name to the building sign out front. In particular, Laurie Steffee, office manager, was tremendously excited about the name choosing the placement very carefully. "They started to put it on a space closest to the street and I stopped them. I want it closest to the building so that as you drive in you can see it for the longest amount of time."

So what is to happen with the space before there are people to fill it? "If you know your Sims games, then you can’t have too many people without a park," says Robert. Plans are in place to add a pool table, ping pong, and other games to keep things fun.
