Web Content Management (WCM)

Almost all ECM initiatives have a Web Content Management (WCM) component. Public Internet sites are the most widely visible presences a corporation has. A Portal might consolidate applications, or provide a tie in for all Internet, Intranet, and Extranet functionality. An Intranet may be one of the key success factors in the sharing of information, records and documents, and access to key company applications. An Extranet might be a key tool for bring customer relationships closer together and providing services such as access to account and order history, collaborating during a joint project, and providing a venue for feedback and communication.
